Theatre Novi Most is awarded $7,500 Metropolitan Regional Arts Grant for new production of the epic of Gilgamesh to premiere in September in Minneapolis. The grant will help bring several guest designers to the area for the project.

Theatre Novi Most co founder Lisa Channer, has been awarded a Collaborative Research Grant from the Institute for Advanced Study at the University of Minnesota. She and her collaborators will train in Kallaripayattu and Biomechanics as they identify physical methods for staging the epic of Gilgamesh.
