Based on the play by Eugene Ionesco.

DELIRIUM FOR TWO peeks in on the life of a couple as they hide out from an unseen battle in a cell like room. She speaks English and He speaks Russian. Their incessant bickering seems somehow to fuel the war outside, explosions growing with each new misunderstanding between the couple. As the war turns to an Armageddon, the two are left to reminisce, argue, compete and become uneasy allies. Outrageously funny and tensely poignant the play is a study in how the personal and political are connected, and is a timely expression of the state of our world in which the politics of wars and nations are often both tragic and deeply, profoundly, absurd.

Funny, with stunning visuals and phsyically inventive performances, this is one show that lets us laugh at our absurd selves until we cry.

DELIRIUM FOR TWO is being presented at the Red Eye Theatre,
15 W 14th Street, Minneapolis as part of the Minnesota Fringe Festival and in repertory with FTF’s Production of HERO CYCLE.
